ArmoryGuidRecipes (AGR) is a WoW add-on that communicates with Armory v4.0+ to build a guild recipe database.

The database can be used as input for other applications. Here at Neighbours the database is maintained by one of the officers using AGR. After it has been converted to XML the data is uploaded to this site to feed the "Recipes" page. There is no need for regular players to install AGR.

If you install this add-on a new command (/ar download) will be available in Armory to start the information gathering process. All online guild members will be queried for available recipes (excluding First Aid and Poisons). Unless the download is prohibited by a user setting the member's Armory will return recipes for all his characters.

Members who left the guild will be removed from the database automatically. AGR will check the professions of the online members and remove professions that are dropped from the database.

The purging process mentioned above will take place when you log out so you can expect a delay at that time.

If you close the information window the download process will continue. There is no way to tell when the download is complete so just wait a minute or so after the last message before logging out.

AGR will only consume memory if you issue a download request.

When you exit the game the guild recipes are saved in the file WTF\Account\name\SavedVariables\ArmoryGuildRecipes.lua. You can use the Agr2Xml utility (separate download) to convert this file to XML.

This add-on is still experimental and subject to change. Always download the latest version of both AGR and Agr2Xml.

ADT is a Win32 utility that enables merging Armory data from different accounts on the same computer. If you don't understand what is meant by this, you probably shouldn't download this program.

Use it at your own risk.

(Make a backup of your WTF folder before you start experimenting.)

Things have changed... to make my life easier:

1. I moved from a local source code repository to a public one. The Armory project is now hosted on CurseForge. Please go there for more info.
2. A packager is now used to create the zip automatically and therefore Armory and ArmoryGuildRecipes are now always bundled together.
3. Localization can now be done through a web application.
4. Release information will also be available in the included CHANGELOG.txt file.

The archive file contains a modified version of LibPossessions that is used by Skillet to calculate reagents possessed by alts. This version will check Armory's database for these counts.

Simply overwrite the LibPossessions.lua in your Interface\AddOns\Skillet folder.

Agr2Xml is a Win32 utility to convert guild recipes in the ArmoryGuildRecipes.lua file to a XML file that is easier to handle.

This is a Joomla! 1.0.x component that enables displaying information retrieved from Armory Guild Recipes (AGR) on your Joomla! website.

You'll need the Agr2Xml utility (separate download) to convert the ArmoryGuildRecipes.lua to XML before you can upload.

Note that you need one person to be responsible for running AGR and uploading the XML at regular intervals. Although you won't lose recipes if multiple persons do the upload, the member list per recipe found will be overwritten each time. Keep in mind that an AGR database will be maintained locally on a PC.

This also makes AGR different from other add-ons that require each individual guild member to upload their own data.
